Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how SpringandRichwedding (“we”, “us”) collects, uses, and protects information about the guests we invite to our wedding, including information collected through this website and through our text-messaging program, SpringandRichwedding Wedding Updates.

Information we collect

• Contact details — your name, mobile phone number, and email address, provided by you directly or given to us by you when we asked for permission to contact you about the wedding.
• Invitation details — your household, which side of the family you are connected to, how you know us, and the names of anyone you add to your household.
• Your responses — your RSVP and any dietary notes you choose to share.
• Technical information — standard server logs (such as IP address and browser type) kept by our hosting provider to run and secure the site.

We do not use advertising cookies or tracking pixels, and we do not collect payment information.

How we use your information

• To send you our save the date, invitation, and RSVP link by text message and email.
• To confirm your RSVP and send wedding logistics and updates (for example schedule or venue changes).
• To plan the event, such as seating and catering for dietary needs.
• To answer your questions when you contact us.

We use your information only for our wedding. We never use it for advertising or for anyone else’s purposes.

Text messaging and your mobile information

We do not sell or share your SMS opt-in data or personal information with third parties for marketing purposes.

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Information sharing with subcontractors that support our services, such as our messaging provider, is permitted only so they can deliver our messages. All other categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.

SpringandRichwedding Wedding Updates sends recurring messages about our wedding. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out at any time or HELP for help. See our SMS Terms & Conditions for full details.

Who can see your information

Only the two of us can see the guest list. Your personal invitation link shows the details for your household only. We use the following service providers to run the site and deliver messages. They process your information on our behalf and are not permitted to use it for their own marketing:

• Supabase — secure database for the guest list
• Vercel — website hosting and photo storage
• Twilio — text message delivery
• Twilio SendGrid — email delivery

We may disclose information if required by law.

How long we keep it

We keep guest information until our wedding plans are complete (including sending thank-you notes), and delete it within 12 months after the wedding. You can ask us to delete it sooner at any time.

Your choices

• Stop text messages at any time by replying STOP.
• Update your contact details from the link in your save the date or invitation.
• Ask to see, correct, or delete your information by emailing SpringandRichwedding@curiousweddings.com.

Security

Guest information is stored in an access-controlled database and sent over encrypted (HTTPS) connections. Only the couple can sign in to manage it. No method of storage is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information.

Children

Guests may add children to their household by name. We do not knowingly collect contact information from, or send text messages to, anyone under 13.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we will post the new version on this page and update the effective date above.
